Newtown Workshop
Our next bike matching and open night is 4th Feb 6-8pm. We run a variety of weekly sessions at our workshop, see below for details.
Shift Happens
Every Tuesday, 6-8pm
Our Shift Happens workshop night is a safe space for anyone who identidies as transgender, female, genderqueer, genderfluid or non-binary.
Bring along your bike and learn how to fix it, or work on one of ours.
All tools are provided and mechanics are on hand to lend support and guidance.
Open Night - bike fix up session
Every Wednesday, 6-8pm
This is a weekly workshop for volunteer mechanics to fix donated bikes. We have limited capacity to assist people dropping in with their own bikes but we’re always happy to give advice or offer tools for use on site.
We are open for pre-arranged bike collection and donation drop offs. Please note we are not taking bike donations until March 2026.
If your bike doesn’t have an EkeRua sticker on it and you’re after help fixing it we recommend trying Mechanical Tempest (also open 6-8pm Wednesdays) or Bikespace.
Mechanics only
Every Thursday, 6-8pm
Thursday evenings are our quiet nights for volunteer mechanics to fix up bikes for EkeRua, and learn with and from the other mechanics. All abilities are welcome.
We don’t provide servicing for members of the public on Thursdays.
Mechanics training
Monday and Friday, 6-8pm
